Music has the capacity to speak the language of the heart, to identify our deepest desires, wounds, struggles & aspirations, and transcend us to a place of enduring hope. Using her charism of music & storytelling, Aly Aleigha draws from universal experiences of humanity and unveils the mystery behind her profoundly poetic lyrics.
Aly Aleigha is an Indie-Folk Singer/Songwriter based in Duluth, MN. When she is not touring or creating music, Aly spends her days rock climbing the North Shore cliffs that plunge into beautiful Lake Superior, hiking local trails, or adventuring in some way. Her voice, calm and haunting like sea smoke rising after a storm, along with poetic & heartfelt lyrics inspired by her many adventures, have captivated listeners since she released her debut record in 2015. In summer of 2017, she hiked the Camino de Santiago, a roughly 3-week trek through the mountains of Spain with nothing but what she carried on her back, which marked her transition into a full-time career in music. Her adventures & personal, heartfelt stories have served as inspirations for her songwriting, which both rattle and comfort the soul of the listener. She signed with a Chicago-based record label for a little while and then amicably left the label in 2019 to pursue music independently. Since then she has been creating & releasing new music and living fully alive, marveling at the powerful gift of music which compels human connection.
